Daniel Offei presents the MVP Handball Award to the Chief of the Naval Staff

Petty Officer Class One Offei Daniel, the 2022 GAHA Most Valuable Player, reported to the Chief of the Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Issah Yakubu, to present him with his MVP award. This visit took place at the Naval Headquarters on January 26, 2023. The delegation was taken to the meeting with the CNS and other directors by the director of training, Capt. (GN) Eghan.

CNS APPLAUSES THE GHANA NAVY HANDBALL TEAM FOR AN EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE.

Rear Admiral Issah Yakubu, the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), has expressed his admiration for the Ghana Navy Male Handball Team’s outstanding achievement throughout the 2022 Greater Accra Handball League season.

In the just concluded 2022 Greater Accra Handball League, the Ghana Navy Male Handball team took first place overall and finished second in the Champion of Champions competition. Petty Officer Class One Offei Daniel won the award for best center-back and most valuable player in the league at the end of the season.

On January 26, 2023, the team made a formal visit to the CNS to hand up the medals and trophies they had earned at the different competitions held at the Naval Headquarters in Burma Camp.

The Ghana Navy Handball Team made the Ghana Armed Forces and the Navy in particular proud by representing them well, and the CNS welcomed them. He praised the group for their tremendous passion and effort. He cautioned the group not to take their success for granted and to instead use it as motivation to work even harder.
